Jimmy's Story
Still in Harbin, China - been 6 and half great years. Consider this home though that may change any time now. 60 is the cutoff age for foreign teachers here but my boss says I can stay as long as want. I would like to stay 4 more years if possible please - thank you.
I teach about 3 hours a day plus go to English corner in the morning (sometimes) and have kids over to my apt...Expand for more
. most days. They are so much to have around and they like old people, imagine that. I have lots of time to paint, ride my unicycle, bike, build and fly rc planes and hang out with the kids. I think it's better than having your own which I really do not regret having.
Update: April 2014: and things do change, losing my teaching contract this year. Will see what Lord brings.
