Jimmy's Story
After graduating I was transfered to Jax. Fla. with Publix where it took me 2 years to get transfered back. THANKS to Dean Ramos. I then made a mistake and married a LHS girl who at age 40 decided to take off with a 17 year old boy and marry him.I retired from Publix and got into Law enforcement after 13 years with Publix. I have been with the Lakeland Police Dept. now since 1988 for 20 years and am presently married to my KHS sweet heart Linda Gurd. I am looking to retire from the city in 2 1/2 years. kes her job with Publix and plans to continue working for several more years. Both of my kids have nothing to do with me and my daughter keeps my grandson away so I can't see him. I do have 2 outstanding stepsons who are very respectful and doing well in college. I have been a Scout Master for a Boy Scout Troop for the past 16 year with 18 Eagle Scouts. Well that's a quick version of what my life has been like for the past years. If I had a chance to go back and change anything I don't think I would change a thing.
