Wallace's Story

Life Our roots are in and around the West Point, NY area. My father was a Pathologist in the Army, so grammar schools were all over the place. I loved 8th grade at Mount Carmel in Tenafly NJ, though. Went to St. Joe's HS in Montvale, NJ but most of my friends went to Highland Falls HS; played hockey for the West Point JRs with Bob Burton, Max Stroppel, the Rileys, Rookie Tipton etc. and lead guitar in a band called the "Sandpipers" founded by Jimmy Dodge. That experience plus the friends from St. Joe's and HFHS was the best time of my life till I met Cindy. College was...Expand for more
2 years at NYU business school in Greenwich Village and the rest at Norwich Univ in Vermont. Graduated as a 2LT in the Military Police Corps and retired after 20 years in 1993. Saw Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, Kentucky, Turkey, Germany, Korea, Panama, and Alaska. Now live in Albuquerque with Cindy. Our 2 children, Chris and Maribeth. "have left the building". Retired as a Deputy Sheriff from Bernalillo County, New Mexico after 20 years. Love to trophy fish for bass, play golf, travel and collect American Indian weapons. If you write, I shall answer.
