Jimmy's Story
After graduating from Harlingen High, I went to UT-Austin and changed majors four times before transferring to Pan American, where I got my accounting degree in 1987.
I also took some time off and worked as a jailer at the Austin City jail and did some cotton farming and ginning with my family.

tment firm. In 1991 I joined the CPA firm in which I became a partner in 1998, and now own outright.
Jean and I have one son, Davis Clennon Kirkland, who was born in 1989 and now attends Cal State University - Northridge on a golf scholarship.
We have lived in the same home we moved into three weeks before being rocked by the Northridge Earthquake in January 1994.
The family and firm are great, and I am a very happy camper.
