Jo's Story
I've recently started using facebook. It's free and much easier to connect or reconnect with friends and find people you know from all over the world. I've been raising children since 1984.
Quilting and sewing were once something I enjoyed and practiced often. By the time I had 3 children I didn't have time or space to sew or quilt. I moved from San Diego to Vancouver for 4 years, then back to San Diego. My licensed childcare business was very satisfying and prosperous in Vancouver. For...Expand for more
awhile I provided childcare in San Diego. It just wasn't the same.
I worked on and off for 13 years as an office manager. And then in late 1997 I remarried. Jerry, my husband is a wonderful provider and preferred I not work outside our home. Thankfully my step-daughters were already adults. I cannot possibly describe how blessed I am and have been these past 12 years.
With only 2 daughters (Lily is 11 & Sara is 15) left at home I have more time and space to quilt, sew, and scrapbook.:-)
