Jo-Anne's Story
I married my high school sweetheart in 1969. Had a 6 month "honeymoon" in Hawaii as he was in the Air Force and stationed at Hickam AFB. After a short stay in an apartment, we built a house in NJ, had a daughter and a son, worked full time in retail and slowly grew apart. After a long drawn out separation (starting in 1990) was finally divorced in 1993. During the separation I met my second husband, married in 1994, and moved to Florida in 1996. wore shorts year round for the next 12 years. In October 2008, my beloved husband passed away, so I'm now trying to sell my house (2nd, we moved off the canal in 2002)and move to Delaware closer to the grandkids (2 boys). Not looking forward to the cold, my blood has thinned but the hugs, kisses and smiles will thaw me I'm sure.
Sold the house in December 2009 and now reside in Newark, Delaware. What a welcome back with three major snow storms with 2 feet of snow again and again. WHAT was that all about?
