Jo's Story
Wow, tell my story. Well, it's a pretty long one so here goes:
Immediately after high school, I traveled to Sicily with my father. My cousins in Sicily told my father about an American school in Rome and he enrolled me in Loyola University of Chicago's Rome Center Branch. This was the first time in my life that I was away from my parents and I had a great time traveling all over Rome by myself. During my year in Rome, a friend and I traveled to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Greece, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, Moscow, Leningrad and Kiev. I saw Lenin's body in Moscow in Red Square and that is one sight I will never forget.
After spending one year in Rome, Italy, I came back to the U.S. and attended UCLA. My first year there, I roomed with three other girls from our class. My last year there, I met my husband. He was graduating that year from UCLA Law School. He or...Expand for more
iginally came from Rochester, New York and was a graduate of Cornell University.
After UCLA I traveled to London, England and spent 1 1/2 years in London attending school there. When I came back from London, I acted in equity waiver plays in L.A. and then was hired by NBC Productions.
I have two daughters. My eldest is Rachel who is currently 13 years old. My second daughter is Julia who is 11 years old. I am really proud of my kids. They are both GATE/Honor students and are working very hard in school. Rachel wants to go to law school and become a judge. My daughter Julia wants to go to medical school and become a radiologist. She will be attending a Lead America course this summer at John Hopkins in Medicine and Science.
Well, that's my life in a nutshell. Now I sing in a church in Tustin, California every Sunday. You are very welcome to come.
Have a great day, Jo
