Jo-ann's Story
I grew up in Cambria Heights. Went to 147 and Andrew Jackson. Lived there from 1949 to 1965. Married my high school sweetheart. It was annulled a year later. We are friends to this day. We were just too young. I have had much schooling since Jackson and continue to this day taking courses in whatever. Keeps me from getting bored. I was remarried for 16 years. I had 2 children. My husband died suddenly in 1982, at 39, of a heart attack. My children were, a son 8 and daughter 10, at the time. I raised them, went into business, sent them both to college, my daughter to law school, and went on with life, as best as possible. Then in 2000, at 26 ...Expand for more
years old, my son died suddenly, at home, of a brain anuerism. I now have 2 beautiful grandaughters, a very successful son in law, and my daughter, Jennifer Nassour, was elected Chairman of the Massachusetts Republican Party this year. She appears on FOX NEWS Business channel every other Sunday at 10 am. I am still working as a self employed, Manufacturerrs' Sales Representative in the Kitchen Cabinet Industry. I am home based in Long Island and own a condo Florida. I am now eligible for Medicare. I hope the government doesn't mess it up now! Please vote in your local elections. This health care issue will be terrible for all especially seniors.
