School
My biggest crush was Bobby Guardino....The teacher that inspired me the most
was Mrs. Prichard at Wilcox Elementary. I think she'd be so proud of who I've
become, and what my chosen profession turned out to be. My funniest memories are
of Mr. Cummins Geometry class. How he used to always walk to the board to write
with his decorated boxer shorts sticking out above the belt of his pants. He
would carry on a lesson, and students used to pass pills up down the rows to
each other and he never noticed. I had many happy times in school. The many
fun times I spent with the drill team. Performing at school games and at parades.
I remember how special I felt when I got asked to dance by the many cute boys
at the school dances after the big games. The Sadie Hawkins dances were a thrill.
I so enjoyed walking with my friends to Guardunos or Tony deli for one of
their wonderful sandwiches. Those carefree, str...Expand for more

minus responsibilities. Oh to be young again.
College
I really have few memories made in college. I worked through the years I attended
school. While attending East Los Angeles College, I worked at Montebello Higt School
pool and worked as a tutor at Eastmont Junior High. From there I went to Cal
State University of Los Angeles and continued to work as a tutor as well as an
early childhood development support staff at the nursery school that exists in the
parking lot at the school. I received my BA degree in 1972, and began as a full
time credentialed teacher. I worked for a year At Marguarita School in Alhambra
and then applied at Brll Gardens Intermediate, where I started in January of 1973.
I've been there every since.
Workplace
My present day work place is Bell Gardens Intermediate in the Montebello Uniified
School District.
Military
I've never served in the service.
