JoAnn's Story
Life Well, life is funny sometimes. I married that guy I had been going with since I was 16 (did not get married to him till I was 27), 10 years later we were divorced. But not until I had let him turn me into a mindless Stepford Wife (at least they got to do drugs). Went back to school and got an AAS in Accounting. I then got involved with a younger guy (younger guys are not all they are cracked up to be, what do you talk to them about anyway. Guess a 40 something woman and a 20 something guy is not alw...Expand for more
ays a good mix). Still live in Chicago, Illinois, have never remarried.
Worked at CEDA (non-profit) in their housing department. Basically it was a quality control job. I had to make sure that the housing counselors submitted the proper documentation, per HUD requirements,for their clients to obtain one time rental or mortgage assistance. I kept track of total the funds allocated to each site, and at the year end submitted the necessary documentation to FEMA and Cook County to document funds spent.
