JoAnne's Story
OLD MEMORIES OF ME----a.k.a ski.....noodles....lol! Wanted to be the fastest sprinter ...always trying to catch Sandy Quinn :-) loved cheerleading, track, choir, school plays(always in the chorus)....wanted to be in swing group with Mr. Nethaway (sang Leavin' on a jet plane) but did not pass audition...lol. Mr. Mullen - one of my fav teachers (even though I hated history)! House parties - fun times! Those were the days my friends!
NEW MEMORIES OF ME-- Got married & got divorced & remarried & also got 3 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren! Retired from NYS Dept of Tax & Fina...Expand for more
nce in 2013, sold everything we owned & moved out to sunny LV - where we had married 12 years ago. Bought a brand new house in a 55+ community, on the landscape committee, writing monthly news articles for the community, doing Zumba, pilates, line dancing, tennis year round! Visiting the strip for the shows and sights - a thrill! Lots of new friends and a crazy, busy social life! Performed for our residents in the community and discovering other Vegas venues as professional musicians- husband vocals & guitar, me - vocals and percussion.
