Jo's Story
Life
After graduating, I went to college for one year then left to marry my husband Marc. He had enlisted in the Navy and we moved to California, then Mississipi and a brief stint in Virginia. We moved back to Decatur in the 80's for a few years then to Champaign area. We had 2 children. I finally went back to school to become a RN. I worked in a Hospital for many years. n Nursing. After the kids left we decided we were tired of the cold and snow! After much looking, we ended up moving to Virginia by my brother Greg. I accepted a position as a nursing instructor at Longwood University. I am now living outside of Farmville, Virginia with my husband and assorted animals. I finally retired this summer....but then I was asked to take a part time teaching position for Nurses Aides so back to work I go!
