Joan's Story
Hello, its been a long time since I have been in the area. After graduation I gave birth to a beautiful son, got married, a little backwards I know, but God's hand was in the midst, almost three years later we had a second son. Never made in the nursing world but IT was good at Tier II level, just being able to help some solve their problems was great and exciting and to speak to persons of all walks of life. e retired and looking to move my career in a different direction. I want to work less hours but yet secure in my finances. Being a grandparent isn't to bad either. I have 7 grandchildren. Life was not all roses but the journey was one of great experience. I did try to come to one of the reunions but schedule at the time didn't permit. Hopefully one year I will get to greet some old friends and make some new ones. Ruby Smith, Doreen, Iris Tyree, Yvette Dillion, Gwendolyn Barnes and her sister Mae just to name a few.
