Joan's Story
Life
I worked at Pocono Medical Center from 1974, retiring in June 2016.. I have 2 children. Derrick graduated 6/04 from ESHS S, was in the Army Reserves, and pole vaulted in the State Meet.Derrick was going to be going to Iraq, but he got approved for warrant officer training.He is still waiting for officer training, and went to ESU, graduating in 2010 in computer science from RIT. Ashley graduated 6/05, was a cheerleader, and volunteered for equestrian for disabled. She went to York College...Expand for more
of PA. .After 2 years away, she transferred to ESU where she graduated in 2010 in biochemistry. She went to S Vietnam for 2 weeks for a medical mission! She thought about med school, Teach for America, or missionary. My husband is Roy Bommarito,of Farmingdale class of 1973. He drove school bus & charter bus, and works for Shawnee Ski Mountain . We went on a cruise in 2010 for the college graduations. I am the proud Nana of a beautiful 2 year old Granddaughter!!!
