Joan's Story
One thing I would like to add for all the wonderful Arlington High School alumni who are checking out my profile. I didn't graduate from Arlington High because we moved. Something I hated but had no choice over. I'm looking for people who went to Parmenter grade school with me who probably graduated from Arlington High when I graduated from high school in Corning. You guys are a class act or there are a LOT of you on this weabsite. Thanks for checking in on me.
As I was thinking about this, I realized that I was kind of invisible in High School. I don't know who would remember me. I didn't do anything outstanding. I felt like a misfit, always on the outside looking in. Of course, perceptions are so rarely what was really going on. I was a basket case back then, on my way to a head on collision with food and fantasy addiction.
It's not that way today.

ur grandkids. I am a cake decorator , an artist and a wedding singer. I love my life. That is the greatest gift recovery has given me, besides a much better relationship with God. I have a terrific husband of almost ( in JUne) 31 years.
I am happy with who I have become and what I have.
I still don't have a cat though.......(sigh!!) LOL!!! Someday, until then, I have two mechanical ones that purr, and a little bunny from the same people who sits on my lap and makes little bunny noises. Easy to clean up after, and all that the landlord will allow. What can I say? I am still a nut and enjoy life more than I ever have, because, you never know when the creator will call your name, as he has some of our classmates.
Anyway, e-mail me, talk to me on myspace, I'm Red or mishapraise there. I'd love to touch base with anyone from my class. I live in Iowa but all my grandkids are in PA and I go there at least once a year to see them.
