Joan's Story
Life
While working for the Rusty Duck restaurant I met my husband Bennett. He worked for the corporate office for the Rusty Duck/ Rusty Pelican chain. I relocated to Southern California and we married in 1988. We have 4 terrific kids ,(no more brain cells), a Siberian Huskey, and a cat. Conner is almost 14, he loves golf and baseball. He will be in high school in July. We are on the year round school system down here. Shaylyn is 12 and she is our competitive gymnast. She works out 4 days a week in concord about 20 minutes from our home and is pulling straight A's her goal is to get a college...Expand for more
scholarship. Payton is almost 8 and she loves soccer and bugging her brothers and sister. She is our little spit-fire. Last but not least there is Ethan he is 3 and thinks Batman is his best friend. We now live in Antioch in the East Bay and I am so lucky to be a stay at home mom. Or should I say a chauffeur, cook, house keeper, financial advisor, and referee. In addition to my husbands full time job we also own a wine store in Lafayette Ca. It is called "The Wine Thieves". I still continue to go for my degree in Architecture. In whatever spare time I can find. Hope to see you at the reunion.
