Joan's Story
Life
Hi everyone.
I've worked for RINA Accountancy Corporation for 36 years. I'm the office manager of our four offices located in the Bay Area and Roseville. When I graduated from ECHS I went to Contra Costa College and majored in Law Enforcement. Needless to say, my career took a different path.
For the last 35 years, I've been very happily married to Cliff Stockholm who I met when I was bowling at Albany Bowl. He has worked in retail all his life currently working at Long's (CVS) in Pinole. He also took a different career path for awhile and for eleven years stayed home to be "Mr. Mom". Our three boys, Mark (33), Kyle (27) and Alex (24), benefited the most from his career decision. Business College and is working fulltime and just recently got married to LaTosha Bonbright, Alex is going to Sacramento State to major/minor in English/Criminal Justice and Mark and his wife, Keziah, had a baby boy in June 2007. His name is Dane and is the cutest thing alive.
We have kept busy in our communities of Rodeo and Crockett with various community groups. I still stay involved with the Boy Scout troop even though two of my sons are now Eagle scouts. They each come back to help with the troop from time to time also. This time in my life is really fun...as there is more time for me and my husband to do things together. Personally I enjoy crafting, traveling, movies and cooking.
