Joan's Story
I have been in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the last 60 years. Married to Mac McDuffie for the last 59 years.
We had one son, (deceased in 2006) and 2 lovely granddaughters who are the love of our lives plus 2 grandsons-in-law.. We now have a great Grandson who is the most beautiful, wonderful little guy, born on September 12, 2015, a beautiful little great Granddaughter born September 4th 2017 and. a beautiful little great Granddaughter born March 31, 2018,

My husband retired in 2006 after over 40 years in the banking business, however, he can't stop working either. He helps me in my business and also purchases neglected houses and renovates them. We enjoy some travel in our motor home when we get the chance.
We both are very active in our Church, my husband is a Deacon and works on the Building and Grounds Committee, I am on the Nominating Committee and am on the Board of Directors. We do stay busy and enjoy working with our church.
We have hope for tomorrow, faith in the everlasting and we take comfort in the love of friends and family.
