Joan's Story
You may find my story somewhat predictable. I was always involved in the arts (theatre and music primarily). I left Jefferson for Pacific Lutheran University, University of Portland, Portland State University (bachelors, masters) and University of Colorado (doctorate). Performing Arts Education led me to teaching positions at universities in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Colorado, Virgini, Washington DC. and California. d out of San Diego State University. A new chapter led us to a remarkable mountain golf and ski resort in Angel Fire New Mexico, just east of Taos in the beautiful pine, fir and spruce forests of Northern New Mexico. They share a need within the days that move so quickly by.
And, then are gone beyond our reach. We often wonder why.
God only knows the reason that we meet and share a smile,
Why people come into our lives and walk with us a mile.
