Joan's Story

Graduated from U of C medical school in 1989 and completed family medicine residency at McMaster university 1992. Clinical practice in Cambridge, Ontario x 4 years before moving to rural Indiana in 1996. Practising primarily OB/Gyn at this time. their Chief Technical Director. Two daughters Alex 22 - graduated from Rose-Hulman mechanical engineering this year and working now in San Antonio, Texas for Southwest Research Institute, and Christine 19 y.o. a sophomore at IWU for nursing - likely will go the CRNA route. Plan likely to move back to Ontario in the next 3-5 years. Still are deeply committed to being Canadian!
