Life I married Herb Allwein in 1953. He was in the Air Force and we lived in many places--Louisiana, Japan, Massachusetts and Nebraska. We moved back to Lebanon in 1991. We have 3 sons and a daughter. The oldest son lives in Frisco, TX. The 2nd son lives in Griswold, IA. The 3rd son lives in Logan, UT. Our daughter lives in San Jose, CA with her husband and our 2 grandchildren. My husband Herb had Lung Cancer and passed away recently. The Cancer attacked his spine and he was unable to stand or walk in the last weeks of his life. Herb had smoked for many years but has quit smoking in 1978. The women from the Class of 1950 have been gathering about 4 times each year. It has been a real treat to get reacquainted with them after being in far away places for 38 years. Many of them are also single again after long marriages. I would like to hear from more out-of-town classmates. It is now Feb. 2003 and I originally wrote the above info in 2001. My daughter Leslie has now moved to Frisco, TX (approx. 3 miles from my son Michael). This makes visits to the children much easier. Only 3 states to visit.
