Joan's Story
Life
I have been married for 31 years in March. Our oldest son, Shane turned 31 in January, Laurel, our daughter, turned 27 in March, and our youngest son, Taylor was 19 in September. The children have been the joys of my life.
Laurel has been going through a difficult time since she and her husband Trapper are getting a divorce. She moved out several months ago and is living with a friend in Buckley now. We all are looking forward to the divorce being finalized and them getting on with their lives.

his past year as I revamped all of our flower beds. He keeps himself busy with genealogy and bridge with friends.
I was really involved with a non-profit organization after hurricaine Katrina, but as physical limitations have caused me to slow down, I am spending more time with my mom. My mom who turned 84 this year is suffering with alzheimers and the more time I can spend with her the better. She has her good days and bad, so we just go with the flow. She has been a very big part of my family's life as well as my brother's so it is hard to see her mental capacities deteriate. We cherish each day with her.
