Joan's Story
~Where does the Time go~I was in the class of 1969 at Livonia Bentley High School. Graduation was June 12th. I married to my high school sweetheart and first boyfriend Ray, on July 12, 1969. We were engaged for a year and dated for two years. My parents said that I must finish high school and I did. Then I jumped into living the married life! Ray and I have been married for 40 years this July. We have two adult children: Staci 37 and Scott 34. Both Ray and I are extermly proud of our family. Our adult children have found their pathway in life and are both very successful!
I feel being a Mom and good wife is the most rewarding career a person can have...I am still interested in many other things, e.g. local government, State Legislative issues, Grand Daughters activies. I suppose one can say that I have my BS in the school of Life...I won't say I have mastered, it because every day is a new experience!
