Joann's Story
I live in Eatonton Ga. Home of Uncle Remus if any of you guys remember those stories. The area is better known for the golf courses and Lake Oconee. No I do not play golf but I do live on the lake.
I have had a great life. Taught school in Cobb Co for 7 years, owned my own bar for 7 years in Atlanta. Worked For Milton's right there in Oakwood Ga for several years. Had my dream job with a company called Handgards out of Texas. Flew all over the country, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Currently I Voluntary as a foster Mom for rescue dogs. Want to adopt a dog? I am down to 5 fosters. go on line to PetFinder.Com my zip code is 31024 and you can see some of the dogs we have. This has become my passion. When I found out we put down over 12 million dogs a year in this country alone I was shocked. I can't change the world but I try to make a dent.
In the mean time I had a daughter now 35 and a son now 27 Now have 2 grandsons 16 and 9.
