Joann's Story
Life
I got married in 1956 to the one and only love of my life,we started out in Florida until my husband Jack got out of the Air Force.Then we moved back to Alexandria,Va. and had two children,1girl Jackie and a year later a son,Victor.We moved to Herndon when the kids were in high school and there they graduated.In 1984 my son Vic was killed on a motorcycle.In 1987 we moved to S.Boston,Va. with my husbands job and stayed there until 1992 when Jack retired from Va.Power and we moved to Gordonsvile and then our...Expand for more
daughter Jackie was married and now has two wonderful boys.Then we moved to Locust Grove,Va. and then my husband of 44+years passed away with cancer.I was of course devastated and own my own for the first time in my life.I decided to sell and move closer to Jackie and the boys,so I sold and moved to Spotsylvania,Va. and am enjoying being closer to them and doing things with them.I would like to meet someone to share my life with again,but if I don't I will be happy with my friends and a wonderful church family.
