Joanne's Story

I lived at home until I was married the first time and then lived at Lake Tahuyeh for 17 years. I moved to Tacoma when I got married for the second time because my husband worked for Boeing. When my second husband died suddenly my daughter and I stayed in Tacoma because there are more opportunites for schools and jobs in the area I live in. If I won $100 million, I'd give 25% of it to Rainer View Christian Church, then spend the rest on Family, Schools in Namibia and improving public schools. I spent24 years owning and operating aChild carecenter for 30 children and will startteaching inHighline School district in September I share my home w...Expand for more
ith my 15 year old daughter, which I find tiresome and energetic . If I were to do something over it would be to go back to school earlier and have at least one more child. I would also not have gotten married to my first husband and dated more. My first job was at working at the a school cafeteria, where I got paid 85 cents an hour to serve food and clean up after middle school students. What I remember most about it is not much, but it was a job. To be truly happy I would be married again and traveling to other countries. I wouldbe learning about different cultures and the countries education system. I would also be exploring the country.
