Life
Hi - We've been living almost 35 years in the same house in Cupertino! For the first time in my life I have no school, children or job! But that doesn't mean I'm doing nothing! I'm a vocal coach - private lessons, and working with local high school and community theatres as vocal director,as well as performing in musicals myself - the picture is me as a Jewish immigrant in "Ragtime" LOVE that show! (recently in "Fiddler on the Roof"& my first opera - La Boheme. Currently rehearsing in Saratoga for SBMT's "Hello Dolly" which run 5/15-6/5). I'm loving being a grandma, though so sad that now all our grandkids are out of state! Ken and I love to travel with our truck and new 38 ft 5th wheel and BEAGLE, Sammye, and I take along a knitting, Crochet or needlework projects. We have 3 sons: Nate,31, living and working in Cambridge, Mass :( is a 2007 MIT PHD Econ grad, 2000 Stanford honors Grad, married 5 years to his high school sweetheart, Leann, with a beautiful toddler Jacob. gian. Daniel, 28, a 2007 MA grad from APU in Special Ed, married 4 years to Kathryn - with 3 year old Katelyn and 9 month old Karis. His pro baseball dreams ended w/ 3 shoulder surgeries, prior to wife and babies. Dan was laid off from his teaching job in Mtn View and they moved to Kathryn's native land - Canada - where she's working on her MA in Clincal Social Work, and he's starting a new career , studying at BCIT for Computer Technology! But he's a very happy man! Ben, 26, 2008 Philosophy BA graduate from CAL Poly, San Luis Obispo. Full time pastor at 1st Baptist Church, SLO. Loves where he's at using his graphics skills, and musical theatre background in his work at the church. My hubby has the odd distinction of working at Lockheed for 37 years. He commutes by bicycle, and is STILL in process of getting me back on a bike - HE BOUGHT ME A COOOOL NEW ONE! My biggest achievement lately is losing 45 lbs over the last 17 months - with 35 to go! (only change there is the 35 and 45 keep switching places!) HEAVY man!!!
