Joanne's Story
I am blessed... While living in ATL, I enjoy singing, travel, working with children, and family. I have two adult children and married my high school sweetheart, Moses Hardie. Though Moses went to Wilson/Manor High School, I didn't hold that against him... ure. I played clarinet in both concert and marching band. During my senior year, I became a majorette. I remember Moseberths (BBQ & Fried Chicken), Shakey's Pizza, the downtown Portsmouth water front, City Park, Mid-City Shopping Center, Famous clothing store on High Street, McDonald's (close to Norcom's practice field where the band would go after parades), Giants, and Frank D. Lawrence stadium.... WOW, those were the days...
