Joanne's Story
In my youth I was Joanne DeBiaso. Today my last name is Gardiner. I live on the San Francisco East Bay and have since 1962. I enjoy baking, cooking, barbecuing and entertaining family and friends. Board games like Apples for Apples, Sequence, Upwords, and Boggle are popular in my house as are card games like Cribbage... but I placed last in a cribbage tournament... had to make the other players look good. I've now decided to take up bridge as I think that would be a fun, yet challenging card game. Any tips?
I am not retired, nor do I plan to retire as many of my clients have told me they are sorry they did. I do take trips from time to time, especially on the train... love the train, especially the California Zephyr creeping over Don...Expand for more
ner Summit in the snow, even though one year the train derailed and we were stranded in a blizzard for 17 hours before help arrived.
Love those times in life that take my breath away... like being with my granddaughters... being close to my children who also live in the bay area... biting into a tasty apricot that we grew in our backyard... watching the sun rise over a fresh brewed cup of Yuban coffee... and the sunset, none finer than those along the bay... and being thankful that I am still here enjoying it all.
