After graduation,I started my first job at Aetna Casualty & Surety Co.in the accounts receivable dept.After that,I worked for Hartfield-Zody in the garment district as an admin.assistant to Vice President.I got tired of traveling to Manhattan,and got a job at a freight forwarding co near JFK airport.I worked in the accounting dept.until I could transfer to the export dept. where I got my first taste of exporting via...Expand for more
ocean freight.I did that for a while and became assistant manager.I then learned about exporting by air, and worked myself up to assistant manager and later became the airfreight manager at another company.My company was bought out by Radix Group Int'l. and I became assistant airfreight manager at the JFK office.After I had my son, I did not go back to work.Now, my husband has his own business,and I help him mostly from home.
