Joanne's Story
As everyone remembered I rode a motorcyle in high school and Mr. Lock AKA "The Big D" always called me"Motorcycle Mama" or "Srygley Wiggley" Wish I had kept in touch with all the friends that I left behind but didn"t. As most of us got on with our lives got married, had some children and even some of us got divorced. I remarried shortly after leaving Memphis and became a Registered Nurse. My husband is a Medical Technologist, supervisor of the blood bank at South Georgia Medical center where we both met each other and worked. I have been employed at S.G.M.C. for 20 years. I am a staff R.N. in Outpatient Nursing unit. I have my 2 daughters and 2 step children. I am still riding motorcycles. Matter of fact my husband and I just bought 2 new Heritage Soft Tail Classics a couple of years ago. We ride all over Florida and even make an annual trip to the Florida Keys on the bikes. I miss the changing weather but really don't want to give up 10 months of motorcycle riding time up each year. The weather here is awesome!! I am a MiMi of 5 grandsons which keeps my husband and I very busy. With the summer months extended here the grandkids love the swimming pool in the back yard. The cement pond is well worth it!!

hen I" back in Memphis this November I would also like to see Kim Kelly. She was the best at pep rallies along with Joey Gianti.
I fly to Memphis at least once a year usually in November because my best friend of 35+ years, always come and visit her for her November birthday. I have even caught up with past friends to see and have dinner and drinks. Life is going by so quickly that we must remeber those who have touched our lives. Classmates.com has helped me in some of this.
If any one reads this hopefully will jot me a line..... would love to hear from the class of 79' "Life has been good to me"
I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
Riding my Harley on a back road where there are big oak trees shading the rode.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, sissors, and great attitude to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Karen Navilio, because she was a wild and crazy girl that I admired a great deal.

If I could improve my home, I'd remodel bathroom and add on a larger master bathroom and extend the master bedroom. My dream home would be a little bigger than what I have now about 1000 sq because anything bigger would be hard to keep clean. LOL.
