Joanne's Story
I have been retired one year now, from teaching high school physical education & biology, and the last 15 years as a guidance counsellor. Retirement is WONDERFUL! I married Ted whom I met at university and we have been blessed with two sons, both living in Elmira with their wives and children. We get so much pleasure from our grandchildren; doing a little bit of travelling and trying to keep in shape for the next phase of this journey.

g, hiking, quilting, swimming & reading are a better pace at 60. There are a group of us from high school who still get together every few years- Wendy, Pat, Shauna, Irene, Pam, Glenda & Joanne.
I would love to reconnect with Brenda Campbell, Suzanne Wood, Lorraine Gregson. Facebook has been great to reconnect with Dianne Winton, Myrna Youse and Joanne Honsberger. I have fond memories of Art Vanderhoeven, Charlie Airhart and the Miller twins.
I have led a very blessed life, not sure how I got to be so lucky!
