Joanne is from Baltimore, Maryland. Her schools include Frederick Douglass High School 450. She later attended Coppin State University (Psychology). She works(ed) a 1st and 2nd grade teacher at with BCPSS for 30 years before becoming a Substitute Teacher. Joanne attended Maryland Theological Seminary acquiring a Bachelor's of Theology, Master's of Religious Education and a Master's of Divinity.
