Joanne's Story
Hello out there...
I am living in Chicago with my husband and two children. My son is seven and my daughter is five. I spend all my time taking care of my kids , and for the last year, renovating our house.
I stopped working when I had my son. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. Funny, but not really surprising if you knew me. I have been clean and sober for twenty years, which was life changing for me. It led me to grad school. At the time, I lived in San Francisco and Berkeley, CA(ten years).
I met my husband skiing in Colorado about twelve years ago. We moved to London for a year, and then moved to Chicago. I am definite...Expand for more
ly a city girl--ok I am not a girl anymore...but you know what I mean.
The most important things to me are my family/my children, and my friends. I am often way too busy of a person, but I am loving my life. I would have more pets, if I did not have to clean up after just one more living thing. We have a dog(Bean) and a guinea pig(Boo Boo).
I love seeing friends, going out to dinner and to movies. I admit I love tivo--sadly, it has changed my life(I am prone to almost exaggerating). I love beautiful things, so I also like clothes a little too much. My favorite thing though are the weekends and playing outside with my husband and children.
