Jodi's Story
You may remember that I moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 1985 and graduated in 1987. That same year I moved in with my boyfriend, Markell Young. I graduated from Americana Beauty College in Colorado Springs in 1988 and began working as a hairstylist. Markell and I married in 1989 at the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur, Colorado -- our prize won in a radio contest. We moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 1990 to attend Colorado State University. om CSU in 1996 and Markell and I divorced the same year. I began working as a newspaper editor at the Fort Collins Coloradoan in 1996. I married Mark Camarillo in 2000 and our son, Javier, was born that year. I retired from working to be a full-time mom in 2001. Our son, Esai, was born in 2002. We moved to Lakewood, Colorado, (a suburb of Denver) in 2003, and Mark began working as an Automotive Technician. Our daughter, Pilar, was born in 2006. Probably the most surprising thing to any of you, beyond the fact that I ever got married, is that I have FOUR kids!!
