Jodi's Story
Life
My life after High School, slowed down. I had my first daughter and all revolved around her. Bought my house in 88, got married 91, had another daughter in 93, got divorced in 98 and then life began. (ALL IN A SMALL NUT SHELL) I am now a A/P Manager for the Ameristar - Casino in Blackhawk. I still own my house in Littleton and I live here with my two daughters and my grand daughter. My oldest daughter Nicole graduated from Green Mountain High in 03'. It us very strainger to go to parent teacher confrences with teachers that you used to ditch their class. My youngest daughter, Krystin is 15 and in 9th grade in Green Mountain High.. In December of 2004, I became a GRANDMA! I don't feel old enough to be a grandma, but Nicole feels old enough (or acts old enough) to be a mom so thats all that matters. Linora was born December 9th (1 day after my birthday!) have always said, being a grandma is the best thing in the world, AND THEY ARE RIGHT! I wouldn't change it for the world. Nicole was married in 2005 and divorcing in 2007. I, on the other hand, am just hanging out. Marriage is not my thing at this time. Hanging out with friends, going white water rafting and spending time with my family is. So that is pretty much what I do!
Workplace
I've recently started a job that I LOVE. I'm in the payroll department for a forming company called United Launch Alliance. It's made up of 50% Lockheed Martin and 50% Boeing Delta. They combined their efforts to build rocket launchers together for NASA. It's close to my home, the people are wonderful and the company is amazing. Not a bad job for getting tattoos while you all were studying. (Although I should have done A LOT more of that. The road might not have been so long.)
