Jodi's Story
Hey there Nova High School classmates of 1988. It's Jodi Ippolito, otherwise known as Joe.
I transitioned my gender from female to male 15 years ago, and have been living a very fruitful and full life. I am a Doctor of Psychology, Professor of Psychology, Researcher, Writer, Activist and Organizer. I work forttaver large health care system located in the Twin Cities -- St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN. I also teach at one of the states University's.

estival geared towards enhancing the visibility of trans people, images and experiences. I have also published chapters in books, consulted on a number of national research projects, and directed and produced my own documentary.
As you can tell, I am very out about my identity, because I believe it is important for transgender people to exist in the world openly and confidently. I am a very open person and am always willing to talk about my experience and transgender issues -- in general -- provided the discussions are polite, kind, open and genuine.
Currently, I live in St. Paul, MN, but lived all my life on the East Coast -- Hollywood, Fl (born and raised) New York City (8 years), Philadelphia, PA (12 years). I relocated to St. Paul five years ago.
