Jodie's Story
Life
I attended Western Carolina University where I met my husband. We both taught school on the Cherokee
Indian Reservation for a year, then moved to Broadway for a year. Finally we tried his hometown of
Clemson South Carolina where we have apparently put roots. We have been here 9 years. My dad cringed
everytime I wore orange back to Broadway. I am a fulltime math coach and my husband is the director of recreation and tourism
for the county. We have a 5year old daughter named Emma and a 3 year old son, Corbin. I love being a mom. I look basically
the same. I finally cut off the long curls and sprung for some highlights. Wow, I'm a wild woman! I love
the mountains and water sports of the upstate area but miss my hometown tremendously. I look forward

School
Now some secrets are best left as secrets...
I think probably it was Mr. Wilkins that inspired me the most because he had so much influence over me through band and leadership from 7th through 12th grade. He watched me grow up and encouraged me to always do my best, set high goals and work towards them. He taught me that I shouldn't throw in the towel.
I was too reserved to do crazy stuff in high school. I kind of came out of my shell in college. Ask me about crazy memories there and I could keep you enteretained for hours!
College
Yeah- my roommate and I got into lots of mischief and she is still my best friend. We took lots of crazy road trips and had lots of boy drama and practical jokes- on others, of course! We were good!
