Jodie's Story
I came to Cardston my Senior Year from Montana. I was in several of Miss Wickham's typing classes, business law and accounting classes as well as Mr. Shaw's science class. I remember a field trip to the woods. I would love to come back to Cardston to visit and see old friends - although I wasn't there for very long.
I currently live in Tooele, Utah (about 40 miles west of Salt Lake City). I have two grown sons and one grandson. I've worked as a legal secretary for the past almost 16 years and love it.

irst person in the State of Utah acting under the 1998 law initiated by Social Security to protect victims of domestic violence to be able to change their identity. This included new social security numbers for myself, my one son whose father was the abuser, new names (a sealed court record) and newly issued birth certificates. The birth certificates did not come for 10 years after the identity change. Since that time, my son has become an adult and the abuser has grown frail. We no longer have to hide and it's my hope to become reaquainted with some of the people I had to leave in the past.
