In May 2000, I married my high school sweetheart & soul mate - Ben Reid. We met in Jr. High School at the Placer County Fair Grounds in 1993 and realized we were classmates. We became a couple in November 1994 during our freshman year.
In 1999, we moved to Sacramento together just prior to graduating from Roseville High School. Spring 2000 - We had an outdoor, 1920's theme wedding in Calaveras County and enjoyed a 4-day honeymoon cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico.
I returned from our honeymoon to take a 21-unit summer semester at Sierra Community College. I earned 2 Associate Degrees; Liberal Arts & Social Science. I transferred to California State University, Sacramento in January 2001.

2003, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and earned my Bachelor¿s in Psychology. I crossed stage to receive my diploma on the same day as my second full-scale cancer biopsy. I've been cancer free ever since July 2003.
Ben hasn't changed at all since I met him 16 years ago, he is exactly the same! Happy-go-lucky, fun, great with kids, laid-back, reckless, and a hard-working Floor Installer.
In October 2004, Ben & I bought our first home near the Old Sacramento River front (1,900 sqft/.2 acre lot). In August 2006, I came to work for the University. And recently (2009) took a 7-day cruise to the Western Caribbean out of Florida.
I hope to complete my Masters Degree at CSUS by December 2010, ideally setting the way for life after 30.
