a mom and grandmom, native Texan, good Democrat (more traditional Republican- like on financial issues), love to watch political talk shows on TV, and love South Texas falls, winters, and springs. I used to live in New Jersey and loved it too, even threatened not to move back to TX but I always missed it when I was away and I never liked cold weather (snow was fun but not enough fun to put up with it). I have two cats but want a dog--just not ready to get one yet (house is too messy). I have a home that needs lots of work but is in a great neighborhood and I have wonderful neighbors. I'll read just about any book I can get my hands on and my youngest daughter keeps telling me about a new place called a library that I should check out (instead of buying all my books). Just kidding, I know about libraries; I just love to shop.".
