About Tammy Vinson Kress?
After graduation in June of 1976, I started working at DaimlerChrysler in October of 1976. While employed at the Export-Import Division in Detroit, on Michigan Avenue and Wyoming, I met the father of my children, Jerry Kress. We dated and married in 1980. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Holly Kay (26 years) and Heather Joy (23 years). We've moved around quite a bit in the past years. From 1980 to 1983, we lived in Huron Township. From 1983 to 1988, we lived in Lincoln Park (Winchester Street). From 1988 to 1993, we lived in Livonia (Grennada Street). From 1993 to 2000, we lived in Farmington Hills (Sheffield Street). Than, in 2000 we moved back to Livonia (Wayne Street). Both Holly and Heather graduated from Farmington High School. Holly, has received her Associates Degree in Business, and is working with an accounting firm The Rehmann-Group (Troy, MI). Holly has been employed there for 6 years and is doing well. ng a Wedding for Holly and her fiance' Luke Kammer on October 28, 2006. Very exciting! Heather is presently working at Von Maur, a department store in Laurel Park Mall in Livonia. Heather, too, is doing well. Unfortunately, my marriage ended in 2002. Jerry and I have stayed friendly after the divorce and I am doing well. I am now living in Plymouth, Michigan. I have a small condo and I just love it.
I have changed employment a few times during the years too! I started at Chrysler in 1976, and worked their until December of 1995. I took a voluntary lay-off after 19 years. I stayed home for approximately 6 months than in May of 1996, I went to work for the Farmington School System as a substitute secretary, part time. Than, in May of 1998, I started working for Cinetic Automation (formerly Ingersoll-Rand) in Farmington Hills. Unfortunately in October 2006 I was laid-off due to downsizing of the company. I am going to take advantage of some time off before getting back into the working world again.
