Jody's Story
I joined the Air Force in 1991 and was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. I got married. After 4 years I left the service and we moved to Durham North Carolina where I worked at Duke University first as a pharmacy technician and the as an academic research lab technician. I got divorced in 1996. Met Bryan in 1999, we married in 2001. I lost my mom to colon cancer in 2000 (she was also living in NC). Moved to Virginia to be near Bryan's famil...Expand for more
y. Rough move. Back to school for nursing. I am now a registered nurse working on a surgical telemetry floor (we are basically a step-down for heart, vascular, and lung surgeries) at Wincehster Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. I live in Front Royal, Virginia. I have 3 dogs, no children, and a husband. It is beautiful up here. We live on the side of a mountain that neighbors Shenandoah National Forest and sometimes get visits from their black bears.
