Joe's Story
I was a nerd before the word was invented. I was in the chemistry club, and was Mrs. Gelber's lab assistant my senior year. I was sick part of my sophomore year and missed some classes, so I took much of history and English with the class of 62. Davis, Mrs. Gelber, Mr. Smith (sr. physics), Mrs. Baethe, Mr. Wedgeworth. I went to Lee College, SMU, and U. of H. and majored in Electrical Engineering. Spent a 40 year career in semi-conductors and digital telephones. Retired in 2001, then sub-taught for 12 years. I married Ruby Lea Martin, REL'62. Div. in 2007. We have 3 kids. I'm now retired in Big Spring.
