Joe's Story
Joe is from Long Beach, California. Joe's schools include Brentwood High School. Joe later attended Baylor University and graduated from Baylor Law School. Joe has practiced law in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth area since 1983, both in private practice and for a number of local non-profit educational and financial institutions.
Joe and his wife, Corinne, have been married for 24 years and have two sons, ages 22 and 20. Both boys played college athletics, his oldest as a baseball player at Howard Payne University and his youngest, a football player, at Texas A&M University. Joe and Corinne are followers of Jesus Christ and are active in their local church, FBC Aledo. They are looking forward to mission trips this summer to Portugal (Joe) and Cambodia (Corinne).
Music Joe likes includes class rock, from Ted Nugent to the Eagles, and Cont...Expand for more
emporary Christian. Books Joe likes include most everything from John Grisham, especially The Pelican Brief and the Firm, all of Tom Clancy's books, beginning with The Hunt for Red October. Movies Joe likes include A Few Good Men, Saving Private Ryan, Notting Hill, and National Treasure. TV shows Joe likes include Justified, Elementary, Person of Interest, Big Bang Theory, Duck Dynasty, and the Americans.
Joe's hobbies include serving as the public address voice of Aledo Bearcat baseball and basketball, editing highlight videos for the back-to-back-to-back state champion Aledo Bearcats from 2009-2011, and for individual high school athletes who want to play at the collegiate level. Joe is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is a Certified Public Address Announcer and member of the National Association of Sports Public Address Announcers.
