Joe's Story
Life
I joined the Navy only one year after high school and have not lived in the state of Michigan since. While in the Navy I traveled around the world 3 times and have been in 27 differant countries. I married a girl from West Bloomfield and had two kids while I was in the Navy. I was later divorced just before I got out of the Navy in 1988. ed to a California girl and had 2 more kids (4 total). I continued to work for the shipyard as an electrical repair tech. I was divorced (again) in 1997.My job has expanded to a that of a foreman and I am in San Diego still, but travel a lot to other ship repair facilities as a repair tech. I work for British Aerospace Engineering Systems (San Diego Ship Repair Division)and currently live in El Cajon CA. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me, or thinks they might.
