Update: My beloved husband, David, died July 13 and I miss him terribly. I am back teaching mathematics at Mt San Antonio College after taking some time off (four years) to work for the AFSC, a Friends (Quaker) Peace, Social Justice, and Relief organization. The job involved lots of travel, both domestic and international. Before the AFSC job I was a mathematics professor here in California at both MSAC and California Polytechnic University. Taught college level math for ten years, and high school math for ten years before that. I'm a gay man, living in California, and have a 41 year old son. His name is Jaemon and he was married in 2001 in Maui. He's a chip off the old block and works for Intel. He and his wonderful wife Tana have brought property on the Big Island and also a home in Lakewood, Washington. Last month Jaemon and Tana made me a Grandfather! Little Jennalise was born June 30, 2006. Tana made me promise I wouldn't do anything for awhile with her that required wearing a helmut. I have a dog named Monster (Welsh Corgi) who's my best buddy and a husband named David Morse. We live in an area of Los Angeles called Silverlake, a wonderfully diverse community...Expand for more
