Joe's Story
Life after High School included the Marine Corps (1974-1978) completing 2 tours of duty in Okinawa. During that time I learned to scuba dive in the Seas of Japan, and toured Europe. In 1978 I enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves. That same year I married and moved to Virginia to be the caretaker of an apple orchard. d to Central NY and lived there from 1988-2005. There I enjoyed fishing, hiking the beautiful countryside and lots of snow. I attended Onondaga Comm. College and worked at Carrier. Due to health issues I moved back to LI to be closer to family. With the emotional and spiritual support of my good friends and classmates, Sandi, Sue and my high school sweetheart, Carol, my health has been steadily improving as I cherish each day.
