Joe's Story

Hello Classmates, I guess that I'm finally at that age where I start reflecting on life, and reconnecting with the past. So, here's what I've been up to since 1968. After HS I spent 3 years in the Air Force, 4 years at UWM, and lived in Arizona, Florida, and Texas before making my way to northern California in the early 80's. I moved back to Milwaukee in the mid 90's, but it was too cold so I moved back to California. I now live in San Ramon. I got married for the first time when I was 48 (why did I wait so long), and I have a 13 year old son (Logan) who lives with me 3 1/2 days a week (now I know why I waited). Of course, he's a great kid. I retired in February, although that seems odd to me because I wasn't working anywhere from which to retire. I spent most of my working life in real estate related jobs (selling, teaching, and managing). Recently, I opened and closed a small restaurant (think Real Chili). I now like to golf (I work a few hours at the local golf club for the free golf), ski (mostly in Tahoe because it's close), and go wine tasting in the many wi...Expand for more
ne regions in this part of California (I think that I have over-indulged in almost all of them). I started selling real estate again. Should I be working after I retired? My brother, Mike, lives in San Jose, Ca. about a 40 minute drive from here. He has a son and a daughter. Sister Jean passed away in 2011 (mesothelioma). Her son Joe (nice name) just moved to China to teach. Parents are gone, but I still make it back to St. Francis every few years to visit old friends. I hope that everyone is doing well, and wish you the best. Sept. 2018 Thought that it would be a good idea to update this before the reunion. First of all, I didn't mean to add all those pictures. Geez! Got married for the second time four years ago. My son, Logan, is starting his third year at UC Santa Cruz. He's become quite the scuba diver. If you visit the Monterey aquarium, you might see him swimming around cleaning up the tank. I finished the book (Gibbons and Stadanko) that I was writing. You can find it on Amazon. I'm retired, technically, but still working part time leasing out homes. Joe

It’s not all bad.
This little bird flew into our patio window and knocked himself out. We covered him up to keep him warm, and he woke up in about 20 minutes. We gave him some food and water, and a half hour later he flew off. Amidst all the

Just another stupid conspiracy theory believed by Trump voters. There’s no conspiracy they won’t believe.
