I attended St. Benedicts Grammar School. I had lots of friends and you know who you are. When I was a kid I loved photography and astronomy. Got my first telescope from Santa Clause when I was 13 years old. Being a GEEK at the time (still today) I volunteer at The Newark Museum on Saturdays. I would help assemble Museum displays. In return I would get a free ticket to the Planetarium Show. I used to take the Number 22 bus to and from the Museum it cost me 10 cents each way. What a deal. I would take lots of photos and experimented with the camera, Kodak Box Camera, I'll post one of my favorites. There was an old abandon building on Main Street we would call the lot "The Jungle". I think it was an old textile mill, we use to go inside to look around it was cool. All the old machinery and belt drives it looks like horses or mules turned the drive shaft for the mill. The local Bums, OOPs I meant work challenged would gather there to share some spirits (Gallo Wine $1 a Gallon). I know I'm being mean but I call it the way I saw it. I'm getting off point. After St. Benedicts I attended Arts High School on High Street in Newark. I was a Fine Art student then studied Graphic Art in my senior year. I was an average student didn't like doing homework. I got good test scores but with no homework it would knock down my overall grade. I should have done the homework! But after high school I went to work for Celanese Plastics Co. as a Chemical technician. Ya! Beats me, I took tests to see where I would fit in and they made me a technician.
